Terms
This Week’s Groceries is a personal project, offered free to family and friends. These terms are short because the arrangement is simple.

What this is
A meal planner run by one person, for people he knows, at no charge. It is not a business and there is no support desk behind it. Access is by invitation or access code; there is no public sign-up.
Use it for planning your own household’s meals and shopping. Don’t use it to store anything you would be upset to lose, and don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to share with the rest of your household.
Prices are estimates, not quotes
Prices come from Kroger’s public API and are saved when they are looked up, so what you see is a figure from the last time the app asked — for the shop it asked about. They are useful for planning a trip and they will not match your receipt.
Changing your shop makes this worse rather than better, and by more than you would expect. Measured on a real basket after a store change: of 40 saved prices, 24 were different at the new shop — some by half — and 10 items were not sold there at all. The app now notices a store change and offers to re-check, but a total it shows is always an estimate, never a promise.
Accounts
Accounts can be removed at any time, without notice, at the operator’s discretion — this is a household app shared between people who know each other, and that is the only moderation it has. You can ask for your own account to be removed by writing to the address below.
Everyone in a household can see and change everything in it, including things you added. If that is not what you want, you want your own household rather than a shared one.
Provided as-is
The app is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, it may lose data, and it may be wrong about a price, an ingredient or a total. It is not offered as fit for any particular purpose, and it should not be relied on where being wrong would matter — for a dietary or medical restriction, say. Nothing it suggests is advice.
It may change or stop entirely, at any time. If it is going to stop for good, the intention is to say so first and give people a chance to copy out what they want to keep.
